Due to the Steinway-designed rim shape, Essex grand pianos are wider at the tail than most other pianos of the same length. This allows for a larger soundboard area, producing a richer sound. The Steinway-designed soundboard is tapered, rather than uniformly thick, to vibrate more freely and provide more tonal volume. Essex pianos have a Steinway-designed, all wood (no plastic) action for proven durability and heightened responsiveness and control. Piano has been a huge part of my life since I was four. I stopped playing when I moved to Melbourne three years ago due to other commitments, and after a long time finally decided on buying one. I was blown away by EPG's range of quality pianos. Chris has been wonderful in assisting me with the process and ensuring everything went smoothly; from choosing the floor model to the careful delivery and the follow up tuning. 10/10 for quality service; they've gained a new loyal customer. I love my new upright and hope to come back in a couple of years for a Steinway grand when I have the space for one.

A great range of beautiful pianos and exceptional customer service from Chris. He gave me goosebumps when he played them. Very patient, professional, knowledgable and accommodating. Delivery was sentimental as it was my Mum's 7th anniversary and it was she who has passed on this love of music to our family for two generations now. We are loving our new family member and hopefully can upgrade to a Steinway one day! Will know for sure where to go!!! Thank you for making this special purchase a wonderful experience!

This place is excellent if you're rich, a pianist and wanting a Steinway & Sons piano, I wouldn't recommend this place at all if you're a beginner (unless you're rich) or have a budget of $7-10K, because a good piano with a good quality strings will cost you much more than $30-40K, concert pianos range from &100-350K if you want one, the colour range is great, there are white pianos if you're after one but 97% of them are black and polished, also at the back of the store there are some good music books if you want one as well. I would recommend this place for rich people only, great friendly staff as well 7/10 (because I left empty-handed due to the high prices)

My amazing Roland C30 Harpsichord arrived yesterday from EPG Piano Warehouse. Only a week ago, I liaised online with Chris from EPG regarding buying a Roland C30. Chris was helpful, friendly and patient, with speedy answers to my many questions prior to ordering the instrument and he gave me a really good price. I flew in from Sydney and visited the store during a VIP sale last month. Best decision ever as I committed on the spot to a beautiful Ronisch 132K in colour Mahogany, after trying out a dozen pianos. The staff were incredibly helpful and I'd like to say 'thank you' to Sargoon and Mark who gave me an incredible deal for my dream upright piano that's now sitting beautifully in my living room!
